Shayna is a course educated and self-trained Makeup Artist living in Atlanta, GA. She not only has a cosmetology degree earned at a Paul Mitchell School, but has expanded their knowledge through working on many shows and features with highly qualified and trained Union artists. Shayna has taken this education and applied it to the work field booking jobs in Beauty, Fashion, Commercial, Film, and Television. Shayna has worked as a Department Head, Key Makeup Artist, Makeup Department Third, and Addt’l Makeup artist on several Features and Television Shows filmed in various areas in the US including but not limited to VA, GA, and MA.
Biography
Shayna was raised in Spring, TX located just outside of Houston. Moving to Virginia at 18 and beginning her career in the beauty industry. Shayna has been working in film, commercial, and television as a licensed Cosmetologist and Makeup Artist for 14 years.
From a young age there was always an expressed interest in anything involving creativity. She grew up imagining and creating things every opportunity she had. The day Shayna found herself working in Film and Television, she realized that it was a place she felt most at home. Her love for the industry, people involved in the industry, and her passion for Makeup have brought her to where she is today. Shayna continues in this field with a desire to always learn more, and work as a team player to make every project they are on bloom and come to life.
